Navi-Hopi Tours #41
#41 in our collection, 2025
Background
Service History
Navi-Hopi Tours was a sightseeing bus tour company connecting Flagstaff, AZ to the Grand Canyon from 1948-1971.
Post-Service History
In 1971 the bus was sold to Willis Renz, chief engineer of the Spartan company when the Model S was designed. He converted it into a motor home in 1975 and toured the U.S. in his retirement.
In 2015 the bus was donated to OPT by the Renz family and transported from Montana to Tucson.
Long-term plans are to return the exterior to its original livery but preserve the motor home interior.
Restoration Status
There are no plans to restore #41 at this time.
