Background

Chevrolet’s first over head valve 6 cylinder automobile.

First owned and operated by Southern Arizona Auto Co. in Courtland, AZ from 1930-1941. It was used as a taxi and supply hauler between the cluster of mining towns around Courtland and the nearby railroads.

From 1942-1958 it was a working ranch car on Riggs Ranch in Elfrida, AZ.

After deteriorating for many years, it was acquired by Carolyn Gray of Tucson, who had it fully restored by Bob Schlanger at British Car Service, Tucson, between 1992 and 2014.

In 2019 it was donated to OPT.
