Modesto #9 was preserved by OPT. While not an original Arizona bus, it was in good enough condition that volunteers were able to paint the exterior to look like Occidental Bus Lines #9, which was the same make, model, and year.
Restoration Status
Exterior is repainted. Doors are currently being rebuilt and reinstalled. Mechanics, hydraulics, and electrics are intact but are in poor or non-working condition. Interior is unrestored. Except for the doors, there are no plans to restore it further. It currently sits outside in our parking lot.
