Dedicated to the preservation, restoration and operation of transit vehicles in Southern Arizona

All of OPT’s streetcars, buses & other SATM railroad equipment are stored/preserved/restored/displayed at the Transit Museum and Operation Center. In addition, the center houses OPT’s library and archives, and certain educational displays on streetcar & bus history.

The Street Railway Division restores, maintains and operates historic streetcars.

The Bus Division restores and maintains examples of transit buses from Southern Arizona cities and displays them at community events.

The Southern Arizona Transportation Museum is our sister museum dedicated to the history of railroads in southern Arizona.
